The Defenders Three More Cast Members Confirmed
Marvel and Netflix have added more to the mix for the eight-episode Defenders series.
It isn’t like fans don’t have enough to be excited about already. The newly announced additions to the Defenders cast include Elden Henson, Eka Darvilleand Carrie-Ann Moss. All three are vital elements in both of the Jessica Jones and Daredevil series. The casting will undoubtedly assist in the fusing the two shows into the mix of whatever Defenders storyline is being brewed. The news comes on the tails of the announcement that Deborah Ann Woll (Daredevil) and Simone Missick (Luke Cage) would be joining the cast.
It will be some time before viewers get a sense of what and who Iron Fist brings to the table but needless to say we’re all expecting fireworks.
This is all sprinkles on the cake compared to the surprise announcement of Sigourney Weaver joining the cast as an unnamed villain meant to take on the Defenders.
Regardless of what Weaver’s character has in-store for the Defenders this casting news confirms it never hurts to have backup, superpowers or not.
