ELECTRIC DREAMS: THE WORLD OF PHILIP K. DICK: Bryan Cranston To Star And Produce [Channel 4]

Bryan Cranston cast as lead in Electric Dreams: The World of Philip K. Dick. The Academy Award-nominated Trumbo and Breaking Bad actor will portray the iconic science fiction writer in the television series from Channel 4.

Joining Cranston on the project is Emmy Award-nominated producer Ronald D. Moore, who is known for his work on such noteworthy science fiction programs as Battlestar Galactica and Outlander. Channel 4 is producing the program in conjunction with Sony Pictures Television:

Each episode will be a sharp, thrilling standalone drama adapted and contemporised for global audiences by a creative team of British and American writers. The series will both illustrate Philip K. Dick’s prophetic vision and celebrate the enduring appeal of the prized sci-fi novelist’s work.

The drama will premiere on Channel 4 in the UK and will be distributed internationally by Sony Pictures Television.
