Evil Dead Green Trailer. Fede Alvarez‘s Evil Dead (2013) green band movie trailer, co-written by Diablo Cody, stars Jessica Lucas, Lou Taylor Pucci, Elizabeth Blackmore, Jane Levy, and Shiloh Fernandez. The Evil Dead‘s plot synopsis: based on Sam Raimi‘s 1981 original film, “Mia, a young woman struggling with sobriety, heads to a remote cabin with her brother and a group of friends, where the discovery of a Book of the Dead leads to danger and horror…[they] unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the [friends] in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.”

Both trailers start out the same way, but after about the first minute or so the green-band goes off in its own separate, less blood-splattered direction — and it does so without sacrificing too much of the creepy intensity that made the last trailer such a hit. That can only be a positive thing.
