TV show trailer for CBS‘ Extant episode Don’t Shoot the Messenger. The moral to the next episode, as extrapolated from the latest trailer, is that people who live in glass houses shouldn’t sow the wind. The resulting whirlwind, in this case, seems to be a veritable clash of gods; set to compete over which agent of vengeance gets to snuff out mankind.
In one corner: Ares (Cleo Anthony), the Hybrid God of War at the moment; in the other: Lucy (Kiersey Clemons): current ranking Mecha Messiah. This, even as Molly (Halle Berry) deals with having considered leaving mankind to the Fate(s) in which it has left itself.
‘Don’t Shoot the Messenger’ also features Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Pierce Gagnon, Grace Gummer, Tyler Hilton, Michael Gladis, Genneya Walton, Mark Adair-Rios, Colton Wheeler, and David Morrissey, and airs Wednesday, Aug. 26, at 9:00 pm, EST, on CBS.
