The Fair Game Movie Trailer has been released. Fair Game (2010) is directed Doug Liman and stars Naomi Watts and Sean Penn. Fair Game (2010)’s plot synopsis: “Valerie Plame is revealed to be a CIA agent by White House officials allegedly out to discredit her husband after he wrote a 2003 New York Times op-ed piece saying that the Bush administration had manipulated intelligence about weapons of mass destruction to justify the invasion of Iraq.” We did a post on Valerie Plame in our The IFC Media Project post years ago. I am glad that her side of the story is going to be told to the nation via such a popular medium as a Hollywood film. I had no idea that Valerie had an ongoing mission while she was being exposed. It also seems like she gets a “Burn Notice” from people she has worked with for years. I wish who leaked her identity could be brought to justice. Fair Game will be released on November 5, 2010.
