FANTASTIC FOUR (2015): Josh Trank’s Reboot Now Has A Release Date

Josh Trank Fantastic Four

Fantastic Four Release Date. Josh Trank‘s Fantastic Four reboot has been given a 2015 theatrical release date. The new Fantastic Four film is being brought to the screen by 20th Century Fox and will feature the classic Marvel Comics cadre: Human Torch, The Thing, Mr. Fantastic, and the Invisible Woman. The new Fantastic Four film will be released on March 6, 2015. The Fantastic Four script was written by Jeremy Slater.

The comic book movie release slate is going to be very heavy in 2015. During 2015, “a new Avengers film, a new Star Wars film, maybe a new Avatar film, possibly a Justice League film” will be released in theater, in addition to Fantastic Four.

On the new Fantastic Four‘s film place in the Fantastic Four continuum:

Josh Trank’s film will most-likely deviate from the 2005 film by director Tim Story and its 2007 sequel…thank Christ “and attempt to be part of some kind of Fox Cinematic Marvel Universe, which should start with 2013’s The Wolverine directed by James Mangold and continue with 2014’s X-Men: Days of Future Past directed by Bryan Singer. Comic book writer Mark Millar was recently hired as head of the Marvel Universe at 20th Century Fox and has talked about linking all the movies, just as Marvel has done with their films at Paramount and now Disney.”

Linking them to the Disney films would be an even better idea for the fans of the properties and the Marvel Universe. What is your opinion on it?
