AMC Gives Green Light To Season 4 Of Fear The Walking Dead
AMC has opted to go ahead and order a fourth season of the network’s popular zombie drama Fear the Walking Dead.
A spin-off of The Walking Dead, the program is a prequel that details what happened just prior to the zombie apocalypse which made the events of the original series possible. Although it is not quite the runaway success that Walking Dead, which remains the most watched show by adults between 18 and 49, is, Fear still ranks as one of the top-rated shows on cable at the moment.
The announcement that the show will get a fourth season might come as a surprise given that the third season is not even set to debut until June 4th, but it definitely shows that AMC is confident in the show.

In the second half of its second season, Fear the Walking Dead averaged 5.3 million viewers per episode, including 3.4 million adults 25-54 and 3 million adults 18-49 in Nielsen live+3 ratings, firmly establishing “Fear” as one of the top shows on cable.
