Playing with Fire

John Cena is in final negotiations to star in this film.

Playing with Fire‘s plot synopsis: “The family comedy revolves around a group of rugged wildfire fighters who meet their match when they rescue a trio of rambunctious children.”


Mira Sorvino has been cast as Marian, “Butter’s co-dependent mother who can only feel loved by Butter by feeding him. Feeling responsible for his obesity, she battles her inner struggles to push herself, her husband and Butter to find a solution to find the right track for him before it’s too late.”

Butter‘s plot synopsis: Butter “follows a lonely, obese teenager everyone in his high school calls “Butter.” Tired of his ridiculed life and his inability to lose weight, he is going to eat himself to death – live on the Internet. When he makes the announcement online to his classmates he unexpectedly receives support from morbid cheerleaders rallying around his horrible, deadly plan. Yet as student’s dark encouragement grows, it begins to feel a lot like popularity. And that, for the first time, feels awfully good to Butter. But what happens when he reaches his suicide deadline?”

Paul A. Kaufman wrote and will direct the film.

Death on the Nile

Tom Bateman has been cast as Bouc.

This actor joins already cast: Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, and  Kenneth Branagh.

Death on the Nile‘s plot synopsis: based on the book by Agatha Christie, “Poirot investigating a murder during a luxurious cruise on the Nile River that he just happens to be on. But just as he identifies a motley collection of would-be killers, several of the suspects also meet their demise, which only deepens the mystery.”

Michael Green wrote the screenplay for the Kenneth Branagh-directed film.

Death on the Nile will be released in U.S. theaters on December 20, 2019.


Actor Viggo Mortensen has been selected to direct this film from a screenplay that he wrote.

Viggo Mortensen has been cast as John Petersen, “who lives with his partner Eric and their adopted daughter Monica in Southern California. His father Willis (Henriksen) is a farmer whose attitudes and behavior belong to a more traditional era and family model. When Willis travels to Los Angeles for an indefinite stay with John’s family in order to search for a place to retire, the two different worlds collide.”

The film also stars Lance Henriksen and Sverrir Gudnason.

James Gunn is in talks to write and possible direct the film.

Rambo 5: Last Blood

Paz Vega had been cast as Carmen Delgado, a reporter “who covers the Mexican drug trade. The kidnapping of her younger half-sister leads her to team up with our titular action hero.”

This actress already cast Sylvester Stallone.

Rambo 5‘s plot synopsis: “Rambo 5, finds John Rambo coping with intense PTSD while living on a ranch in Arizona, trying to pick up casual work wherever he can. Soon his friend and estate manager Maria informs him that her granddaughter went missing after crossing into Mexico for a party, so John travels south of the border to find the youngster. The quest quickly turns into a violent descent into hell as Rambo uncovers a sex-trafficking ring, teaming up with a journalist whose half-sister has also been kidnapped. Rambo has to deploy all his skills to save the girls and bring down a vicious crime lord.”

Matt Cirulnick wrote the screenplay for the Adrian Grunberg-directed film.
