Justice League Dark, The Jetsons, The Husband’s Secret, and other films and TV shows have made recent casting news.

These productions come from studios based primarily in the United States. The castings are subject to change.

The Husband’s Secret reports that Blake Lively has been cast as the lead in CBS Films’ The Husband’s Secret. Based on the novel of the same name by Liane Moriarty, the project will also see Lively serve as an executive producer on it.

Known primarily for her role as Serena van der Woodsen on Gossip Girl, the actress has also played characters in films such as Green Lantern and Savages.

The Jetsons says that Warner Bros. has enlisted Conrad Vernon to direct the studio’s upcoming feature film adaptation of the classic Hanna-Barbera series The Jetsons. A veteran of animated fare, Vernon has helmed productions like Monsters vs. Aliens, Shrek 2, and most recently Sausage Party.

Justice League Dark reports that Damian Szifron may be set to replace Doug Liman as director of Justice League Dark. An accomplished filmmaker in his homeland of Argentina, Szifron is known for his darkly humorous anthology film Wild Tales.

Silicon Valley

The Hollywood Reporter says that T.J. Miller will not return for the fifth season of Silicon Valley.

Chicago P.D.

Deadline reports that Sophia Bush is ending her four season-run on Chicago P.D.
