The Exorcist, The Irishman, Mad Max, and other films and TV shows have made recent casting news.

These productions come from studios based primarily in the United States. The castings are subject to change.

Mad Max

Charlize Theron says that she would “love to” reprise the role of Imperator Furiosa in a Mad Max prequel. According to the Fury Road star, Warner Bros. prepared three scripts that could serve as a basis for such a film. However, she explained that it all depends on if series creator George Miller deigns to return as director.

The Irishman

Joe Pesci has been officially confirmed to appear in Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman. Although the Raging Bull actor was first floated in connection to the long-gestating project in 2010, Scorsese reportedly offered the role to him 50 times before he finally accepted it. The film will mark his fourth collaboration with the Casino director.

The Exorcist

Brianna Hildebrand has signed on to the cast of Fox’s The Exorcist. She will have a regular role on the supernatural drama’s second season as Verity, the daughter of fellow newcomer John Cho’s character. Season 2 of the show will debut on Friday, September 29th.

The Rhythm Section

Blake Lively is set to star in the upcoming spy thriller The Rhythm Section.

Under The Eiffel Tower

Reid Scott has been cast as Liam in the planned romantic drama Under The Eiffel Tower.
