Han Solo

Paul Bettany has been added to the cast of Han Solo. Bettany, who has appeared in such high-profile projects as A Beautiful Mind and The Da Vinci Code, is now widely recognized for his role as Vision in the Avengers franchise. The news was broken by Ron Howard, who shared a photo of himself with Bettany on Twitter and previously directed him in Mind and Code.

The Joker

Warner Bros. is said to be interested in casting Leonardo DiCaprio as The Joker in the planned eponymous film. This is a huge development and an ambitious move even by the generous standards of  superhero films. Of course, Jared Leto, who most recently played the character in Suicide Squad, is said to be displeased with the news and adamant about staying on in the role.

True Detective

Mahershala Ali has signed onto the cast of True Detective for its third season.

Falling Water

Kristopher Turner and Stephen Arbuckle have joined the second season of USA Network’s Falling Water.

Escape At Dannemora

Michael Beasley is set to play a recurring role in Showtime’s Escape at Dannemora.
