The Joker

Warner Bros. is in the process of developing an origin movie for The Joker. According to Deadline, the proposed film will be a standalone project and not tie into the studio’s DC Extended Universe. Additionally, it is said that Warner Bros will not have Jared Leto reprise his role as the Clown Prince of Crime for the movie.

Stranger Things

Matt and Ross Duffer announce that Netflix has already committed to a third season of Stranger Things. In addition, the two brothers speculated about the possibility of a fourth season, saying that it would probably have to be the last one for narrative reasons. The second season of the show is set to premiere on Netflix on October 27th.

Black Samurai

Starz has decided to go ahead and adapt Marc Olden’s Black Samurai novels for the small screen. Common and RZA have both been attached to the program.

The War With Grandpa

TWC and Dimension Films have pushed back their Robert De Niro comedy The War With Grandpa back to February 23rd, 2018.

Murdertown

Fox has made a script commitment to the Jillian Bell comedy series Murdertown.
