Castlevania

Netflix has put in an order for a second additional season of its planned Castlevania series. The animated program is based on the  Konami video game of the same name and will star Graham McTavish and Richard Armitage.

Avengers: Infinity War

Jeremy Renner confirms that he will still able to shoot scenes for Avengers: Infinity War after breaking both of his arms. The actor injured himself while filming a stunt for Tag, which is in the middle of production in Atlanta and unaffected by Renner’s injury.

Killing Gunther

Saban Films obtains the distribution rights to the action comedy Killing Gunther. The film is Taran Killam’s directorial debut and has a cast that includes Bobby Moynihan, Hannah Simone, Cobie Smulders, Paul Brittain, and Arnold Schwarznegger as the titular character.

Haunt

Sierra/Affinity has committed to producing and financing Scott Beck and Bryan Woods’ horror coproduction of Haunt. The two are known as the screenwriting team behind John Krasinski‘s directorial debut A Quiet Place.

Strings

Green Room Management is set to produce Julie Herlocker’s planned musical drama Strings. The movie will be the firm’s first.
