Star Wars: Episode IX

Lucasfilm announces that it has decided to delay the release of Star Wars: Episode IX until December 20th, 2019. Initially set for release on May 24th, it’s possible that the studio opted to delay production after having to find a new director to replace Colin Trevorrow. Coincidentally, the new date puts the movie just one week away from Wonder Woman 2.

Vikings

History has opted to go ahead and renew Vikings for an additional sixth season. The move is an especially bold one since the historical drama’s fifth season has yet to premiere. Not only that but the network has committed to 20 new episodes for the proposed season, indicating the amount of confidence the network has in the program’s ability to continue performing well into the future.

Fox will produce the medical drama The Family Gene from The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons.

Ride

AMC gives the green light to a third season of Ride.

Glass Houses

ABC is working on a new series from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Kyle Richards titled Glass Houses.
