Anne Dudek to Play a Genius From the Future on The Flash
The Flash is about to head into the future in it’s third season with some help from a genius. The CW has casted the role to Mad Men alum Anne Dudek as Tracy Brand, who is going to fit into the future timeline that Team Flash will be involved in during this season.
According to TVLine, Anne Dudek joins the cast of The Flash’s third season as Tracy Brand, a character who is known as “a smorgasbord of quirky idiosyncrasies.” Does that sound a lot like Felicity Smoak? Well, it turns out that Tracy isn’t somebody straight out of the comics, but she will be important from the future. It’s definitely something that we may get to see when Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) heads into the future timeline during the 18th episode.
The site says that, “Showing nary a hint of the greatness that people will celebrate her for in the future, Tracy will set out to find the genius she’s destined to one day become.” So what does this entail? We’ll have to wait and see, but we won’t be seeing Dudek’s character until episode 20. Currently, Barry is trying to save Iris (Candice Patton) from her prophesied death at the hands of Savitar. It’s really difficult to know for sure how this all comes together towards the end of the season.
