Images From The Flash Unveils Gorilla Grodd and Solovar
The CW has released more images from the upcoming two-part episode on The Flash featuring Gorilla Grodd. These new stills from ‘Escape from Gorilla City’ give us a new look at the powerful and intelligent ape as well as the small screen debut of the classic DC villain Solovar.
These six new photos from The Flash have been released on the web, and it gives us a taste of what’s to come in the CG heavy episode. We can see that there will be lots of scenes with Gorilla Grodd as he is in need of help from Team Flash. We also have the debut of Solovar, the villain and king of Gorilla City as Grodd is looking to take him down with the Scarlet Speedster’s help. In one of the scenes, we find Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) in a coliseum as he battles Solovar. Can Barry defeat Solovar and get back to his Earth?
For those unfamiliar with Solovar, the king of Gorilla City started out as a villain before he became a supporting character in the comics featuring The Flash. The fearless leader had psychic powers that rivaled Gorilla Grodd. He was also a common enemy against Grodd. At the time, he asks for Flash’s help in defeating him. It looks like it’s the other way around in this upcoming episode.
