THE FLASH: Robbie Amell to Return in Season Three [The CW]

Ronnie Raymond To Come Back In The Flash’s Third Season

Robbie Amell got to play two versions of his character Ronnie Raymond on The Flash for the first two seasons, but he hasn’t appeared on the show since then. Now the actor is about to make his return to the series this season when he reprises his role, but which version will he appear as?

When we see Ronnie Raymond again this season on The CW superhero series, he won’t be the original character we saw in season one. Entertainment Weekly has reported that Robbie Amell has signed on to come back to his role in the second half of the third season but other than that, we know nothing else. Ronnie Raymond was the other half of the original Firestorm with Dr. Stein (Victor Garber) before he got caught in the explosion that destroyed the breaches from our world to Earth-2. Since his character disappeared into the wormhole in the second season premiere, we got to meet his Earth-2 doppelganger known as Deathstorm.

Zoom has already killed him, so we can rule him out. Perhaps we may see the original make his return and find out that he somehow survived the explosion. Seeing that Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) is in a fragile state as she makes her transformation into Killer Frost, maybe we’ll see Ronnie as a hallucination. It’s anyone’s guess at this point, but hopefully the network will reveal some more details. Let us know what you think and what your theories might be regarding Robbie’s return to the show.
