FULLER HOUSE: Netflix Series Renewed for Season 2

Fuller House renewed for second season. Netflix‘s Fuller House has been renewed for a second season, less than one week after the season 1 premiere.

Fuller House follows the story of DJ Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure), a single mom whose sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and best friend Kimmy (Andrea Barber) move in with her to help her raise her 3 children after her husband dies.

If this premise sounds familiar, it’s because it is; this is the exact same premise that the show’s predecessor, Full House, used as well. It may not be surprising, then, that Fuller House has been criticized for showing nothing but Full House nostalgia. Although the show’s first season lacks some originality, its popularity seems to be unaffected. Viewers love nostalgia, and the original show was incredibly creative and well-loved. It seems that Fuller House has been able to ride these waves through to a second-season renewal.
