Jackie Tohn And Britt Baron Set To Appear In G.L.O.W.
Netflix adds Jackie Tohn and Britt Baron to the cast of the program from Orange Is The New Black‘s Jenji Kohan.
The two actresses will play recurring roles in the streaming service’s comedy series. Also slated to appear in the program are Marc Maron, Kimmy Gatewood, Rebekka Johnson, and Alison Brie, who will headline the show.
Based on the story of the 1980’s female wrestling league, G.L.O.W. will follow Brie’s Ruth as she attempts to realize her dreams of becoming a star by playing a part in a TV series devoted to women wrestlers:
Baron plays Justine, a teenage runaway. Tohn is Melrose, a Hollywood party girl. Gatewood and Johnson play Stacey and Dawn, best friends/hairdressers. Nash is Rhonda, a British print model. Mani will portray Arthie, a med student with Hollywood dreams, and Steven is Tammé, an 80’s TV actress who is always the guest star, never the star.
Baron’s recent TV credits Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and Chicago PD. She’s repped by Principal Entertainment LA & CESD.
Tohn recently finished filming David Wain’s A Futile and Stupid Gesture at Netflix, playing Gilda Radner. She also recurs on NBC’s The Good Place opposite Kristen Bell and Ted Danson, and was previously in Sisters with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. She’s repped by One Entertainment and TalentWorks. Nash is repped by CAA and Margrit Polak Management.
