The latest Game of Thrones trailer begins with a solemn Daenerys, possibly standing over Ser Barristan before the trailer is interrupted by the flame of a dragon. The focus then shifts to Brienne recognizing the numerous threats to Sansa while she remains at Winterfell. We then jump to the wall where Jon Snow declares winter is coming, alluding to the return of the White Walkers before ending with Tyrion, awe-struck by the sight of Daenery’s dragon, Drogon.

Dany makes a difficult decision in Meereen. Jon recruits the help of an unexpected ally. Brienne searches for Sansa. Theon remains under Ramsay’s control.
