Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures have released two new movie TV commercials for Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019). Many news scenes from the upcoming monster bash film are displayed in these Godzilla: King of the Monsters TV spots. Why humanity goes around the planet seemingly releasing the kaijus is beyond me. Hopefully this is explained in the film.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters‘ plot synopsis: “The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.”

Michael Dougherty‘s Godzilla: King of the Monsters stars Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Kyle Chandler, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Charles Dance, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Aisha Hinds, and Ziyi Zhang.

Zach Shields wrote the screenplay for Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
