Gotham: Season 2, Episode 16: Prisoners‘ plot synopsis (spoilers): “James Gordon is removed from protective custody and gets in trouble with Blackgate prisoners. He later receives help from the outside, which includes his former partner Harvey Bullock. Gordon is informed that Leslie Tompkins had a miscarriage. Oswald Cobblepot begins to bond with his father, Elijah van Dahl, until Dahl is murdered by his wife and her children. Gordon also escapes prison after some help from Bullock and Carmine Falcone. After the escape, he only insists that the only way to continue his work, is that it requires him to head back to Gotham to get going.”
