Gotham To Reveal How The Joker Came To Be. The second season of Gotham has been focusing on ‘The Rise of the Villains’, especially with the origins of The Joker. This may fear some fans because of where the show is heading. Well. Bruno Heller wants to put those concerns to rest.

With Gotham exploring the origins of Batman’s most infamous villains, fans have been skeptical as to how The Joker would be introduced. Some fans thought that Jerome (Cameron Monaghan) has the makings of the psychotic villain we are all familiar with. The question that remains on everyone’s minds is if Jerome (Cameron Monaghan) actually becomes the Clown Prince of Crime himself. Speaking with the Nerdist, showrunner Bruno Heller said that there is nothing to fear concerning how The Joker would be introduced in Gotham. “We’re going to be giving you concrete answers to his identity,” Heller said. “That story is going to come to a huge and shocking resolution which will explain the whole Joker myth and how it began and how the Joker came to be.”
