Harry Potter’s theatrical structure, splitting the final edition into separate films, is a structure currently being adopted by many book adaptations coming to theaters in the next few years, most notably The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn and The Hunger Games. Did it bother you that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 was split into two parts or did it make the film even better?
Some of you probably do not care about the split and see the ending of the Harry Potter franchise as a bittersweet or even a sad moment. Sami Jarroush, the goof, is actually crying about the series ending at the beginning of this video.

Did Harry Potter live up to your expectations? It lived up to box office expectations and actually exceeded them.
It has been confirmed by THR/indieWIRE that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 has broken the highest opening weekend record set by The Dark Knight with a total of $168.55 million this weekend. The previous total set by TDK was $158.4M back in 2008 (full chart), but WB is again going to smash through both of these records next year when The Dark Knight Rises hits on July 20th, 2012, I’m pretty sure of that. Deathly Hallows: Part 2, as expected with record breaking theater counts, also earned the most money at midnight out of any release at $43.5M.
Disregarding the numbers, was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 a satisfying film series ending like The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King or was it lackluster?
