HAYWIRE (2011): First 5-Minutes: Gina Carano Opening Fight Scene

Gina Carano, Channing Tatum, Haywire

Haywire First 5-Minutes, Gina Carano Opening Fight Scene. Steven Soderbergh‘s Haywire (2011) first five minutes stars Gina Carano and Channing Tatum. The Haywire opening fight scene starts out one way then quickly turns towards the other but not because of what the viewer initially thinks. The scene has no cheesy fight music thus only the ambient sounds of the fight and the diner exist. I read a few people comment on Gina Carano’s acting on other sites but they seem to have forgotten two thing: 1.) She has never studied acting in her life, 2.) This is her first movie.

We previously posted the Haywire (2011) Movie Trailer.

Haywire’s plot synopsis: “Freelance covert operative Mallory Kane is hired out by her handler to various global entities to perform jobs which governments can’t authorize and heads of state would rather not know about. After a mission to rescue a hostage in Barcelona, Mallory is quickly dispatched on another mission to Dublin. When the operation goes awry and Mallory finds she has been double crossed, she needs to use all of her skills, tricks and abilities to escape an international manhunt, make it back to the United States, protect her family, and exact revenge on those that have betrayed her.”

Haywire also stars Michael Fassbender, Bill Paxton, Ewan McGregor, Michael Douglas, Antonio BanderasMichael Angarano, Matthieu Kassovitz, Natascha Berg, Aaron Cohen, Maximino Arciniega, Tim Connolly, Anthony Brandon Wong, and Eddie J. Fernandez.
