The House of the Devil Movie Trailer has premiered and is a horror film written, directed and edited by Ti West. The House of the Devil stars newcomer Jocelin Donahue, along with Tom Noonan and Mary Woronov. The strength of The House of the Devil is that it looks as though it were made in the late seventies, earlier 80’s but was actually shot present day in Connecticut on 16mm film. Since many great slasher films came out during that time, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Halloween to name a few, this could work in The House of the Devil‘s favor both from an advertising stand point and from story telling one. The House of the Devil synopsis: “College student Samantha Hughes [(Jocelin Donahue)]takes on a babysitting job in a remote mansion. The pay is good, but Samantha quickly realizes that she is trapped. As a lunar eclipse darkens the night sky, her employers [, Mr. Ulman (Tom Noonan) and Ms. Ulman (Mary Woronov),] carry out a horrific ritual with Samantha at the center.” Check out the movie trailer for The House of the Devil below and leave your thoughts on it below.
