INHUMANS: ABC Superhero Show Gets Friday Night Time Slot

ABC Sets Marvel’s Inhumans For Friday Night Time Slot

ABC has revealed that its latest Marvel superhero series Inhumans will air on the network’s 9 PM time slot on Friday nights.

The announcement was part of a larger release detailing ABC’s lineup for the fall. Much interest was generated by the fact that one of the network’s other superhero shows, Agents of SHIELD, was bumped from its 10 PM slot by the new program The Gospel of Kevin. Instead, the show will migrate to Inhumans‘ new slot after its first run of episodes concludes.

Scott Buck serves as showrunner and executive producer, with Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory serving executive producing as well. The first two episodes of the series are set to be directed by Roel Reine.

Superherohype, the source of this story, shares the following plot synopsis and cast information for the upcoming series:

In Marvel’s Inhumans, after the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.

The cast for the series includes Anson Mount (Hell on Wheels) as Black Bolt, Serinda Swan (Ballers, Graceland) as Queen Medusa, Lost alum Ken Leung as Karnak, Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones) as Maximus, Eme Ikwuakor (Concussion, Extant) as Gorgon, Mike Moh (Empire, Street Fighter: Assasin’s Fist) as Triton, Sonya Balmores (Beyond the Break, Soul Surfer) as Auran, Isabelle Cornish (Australia DayPuberty Blues) as Crystal, and Ellen Woglom (Californication, Outlaw).
