IRON FIST: Steel Serpent Teased for a Potential Season Two [Netflix]

Sacha Dhawan Iron Fist Season One

Iron Fist May Bring Steel Serpent for a Second Season

Netflix and Marvel’s Iron Fist introduced viewers to a bunch of characters from the comics, including Davos (Sacha Dawan) who in the comics turns into one of Danny’s (Finn Jones) most formidable foes, Steel Serpent. We may not have seen the last of him after the end of season one.

If you’ve already binge watched through the first season of Iron Fist, you know about the appearance of Davos. Despite hearing rumors of his character coming on the show, we didn’t quite know what role he would be playing in the first season. The Steel Serpent began as a friend of Danny’s at K’un-Lun, but things take a turn when Danny refuses to come back to the Monastery with him. It gets worse for their friendship when she finds out that Danny has feelings for Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick), who turned out to be a member of The Hand. Towards the end of the season, Davos decides to kill his former ‘brother’, which sets him up as a possible main villain for the second season.

In an interview with Radio Times, Dhawan hinted that Davos may return after The Defenders at some point. “I’m not in the Defenders, no. The crux of Danny and Davos’ story I think really begins towards the end of season 1, and I think they didn’t want to start it straight away into the Defenders, and wanted to save it for series 2.”

Iron Fist hasn’t been picked up for another season yet, but most of the other Marvel shows have, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if it did despite the negative reviews. Would you like to see Davos take on Danny in another season of Iron Fist?
