Neal Purvis And Robert Wade To Write 25th James Bond Movie
Screenwriting partners Neal Purvis and Robert Wade have been tapped once again to write the screenplay for the next James Bond film.
Those who have been following the classic EON franchise for some time will know that Purvis and Wade have been involved with it for years now. First picked to serve as scribes on 1999’s The World is Not Enough, they have stayed on as screenwriters up until 2015 when they teamed up with John Logan and Jez Butterworth on Spectre. Their involvement was something of a surprise as they announced beforehand that they would not participate in the film’s production, a position they appear to have had second thoughts about.
The 25th James Bond movie is still in the early stages of development, with it still being unsure if Daniel Craig will return as 007.

While director Sam Mendes (who helmed both Skyfall and SPECTRE) has stated that he won’t be returning for the new film, all eyes are now on Daniel Craig to see if he follows suit. If the star returns for Bond 25, it will mark his fifth big screen appearance as 007. At the moment, however, he’s tied with Brosnan and still three films behind both Sean Connery and Roger Moore. (Although one of Connery’s seven was the non-Eon Never Say Never Again).
