Jigsaw Trailer
Michael Spierig, Peter Spierig‘s Jigsaw (2017) movie trailer stars Laura Vandervoort, Tobin Bell, Callum Keith Rennie, Matt Passmore, and Hannah Emily Anderson. Jigsaw‘s plot synopsis: “Bodies are turning up around the city, each having met a uniquely gruesome demise. As the investigation proceeds, evidence points to one man: John Kramer. But how can this be? The man known as Jigsaw has been dead for over a decade.”
I watched the first few Saw films before they got more and more ridiculous. That latter Saw films were more about the elaborate traps that people were snared in than good story-telling. The first Saw film was almost a two actor play where two people examined how they came to be locked in a room together. The latter Saw films were about the growing brutality of on-screen kills. Jigsaw looks like the latter films in the Saw franchise.
Jigsaw also stars Tina Jung, Bonnie Siu, Sonia Dhillon Tully, Mandela Van Peebles, Michael Boisvert, Paul Braunstein, Misha Rasaiah, Josiah Black, and Attila Sebesy.
Jigsaw was written by Pete Goldfinger, Josh Stolberg, James Wan, and Leigh Whannell. Jigsaw was produced Oren Koules, Mark Burg, and Gregg Hoffman.
