Plot Synopsis
Joker‘s plot synopsis: “A failed stand-up comedian…[seduced into Gotham’s criminal underworld in the early 1980s and] driven insane…[to] becomes a psychopathic murderer.”
I, like many others, have been waiting to see this new take on The Joker and his storyline. I am surprised by this trailer. Everything is grounded in reality. This movie reminds me more of Batman Begins than any of the latest Batman or Joker-incarnation films. In this film, it looks like the viewer gets to know Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) before, during, and after his transformation into The Joker.
