JUSTICE LEAGUE (2017): Ray Fisher Talks About Being Cyborg

Ray Fisher Cyborg

Ray Fisher Discusses About Playing Cyborg. Ray Fisher has been getting lots of publicity since he got the gig to play Cyborg early this year in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the Justice League films. Now he will also be preparing for his own solo film, which comes out in 2020.

Speaking with EW, Ray Fisher spoke about his character’s journey through the DC film universe starting with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice saying that fans won’t be disappointed with the result. “I didn’t know the extent to which DC and WB had planned on taking my character,” Fisher told EW. “When I signed on, I just wanted to be part of this world. But that specific information, I found out then and there. I didn’t think I’d be getting my own stand-alone film… Let me tell you, man, people are in for a hell of a treat.”

If anyone is wondering what Cyborg’s storyline would be, Ray Fisher wouldn’t be able to answer since he has no clue either. He has been silent about spoilers for his storyline in Batman v Superman, which he recently wrapped shooting back in July. He did confirm to have met his other teammates including Ben Affleck (Batman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman). The actor also bonded with Jesse Eisenberg, who plays villain Lex Luthor in the film.

“I met everyone in the Justice League except Henry Cavill and Ezra Miller,” Fisher said about the actors who play Superman and The Flash. “It was surreal. You get this idea of going to work on a Hollywood set as being really stressful and nerve-wracking. But it blew that stereotype away. If they did have stressful times, it wasn’t while I was there.”
