Final Two Episodes of Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles Releases. Gods and Monsters Chronicles had a good start with Bruce Timm’s alternate universe. Now the first season comes to a close with the final two episodes featuring Superman and Wonder Woman.
The last two episodes gives us a look at an alternate version of Superman and Wonder Woman. The second episode shows Brainiac destroying Metropolise with a huge energy field. With the government unable to contact Superman, Doctor Sivana tells President Amanda Waller to order a nuclear strike in order to stop Brainiac from killing more civilians. After Amanda issues the strike, Superman shows up in time to stop Brainiac. The twist comes when Brainiac is revealed to be a mere child created by the government to match Superman’s powers. The question remains, will Superman put Brainiac down?
In the last episode, Steve Trevor is sent by Amanda Waller to stop Kobra from unleashing a powerful super-weapon on Earth. As Trevor gets cornered by Kobra, Wonder Woman comes to the rescue and the two of them team up to stop the weapon, which turns out to be a robotic Giganta.
