Jackson, Callan McAuliffe, Cleo Rinkwest, and Russel Savadier. Kite‘s plot synopsis: based on Yasuomi Umetsu‘s anime film, “Jackson plays a crooked detective who uses homeless children to do his dirty work. He takes in a young woman named Sawa (India Eisley) after the murder of her parents, training her to kill and exact street justice against his targets.”
This looks like Hit-Girl mixed with manga, some cool fights, all framed within low-budget trappings. The location should have been NYC but it costs a lot to film there so…
