Knock, Knock UK Movie Poster Released. Eli Roth‘s Knock, Knock premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, which is quite a step up from the festivals he usually plays in, which are more genre oriented and not as, shall we say, classy as Sundance. In any case, Roth is directing movies again, and it seems like we’re getting two, back to back, this year. I’m not particularly looking forward to this one, frankly, as I just don’t see how Roth can make this cliché sex-thriller-in-the-rain any better than the iterations we’ve gotten for the past two decades. I’d rather rewatch Hard Candy or Funny Games or a 1980s Michael Douglas flick or something.
