New Trailer from FX’s Legion Shows Release Date
FX unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming X-Men spin-off Legion, which shows some awesome new footage and a release date. Noah Hawley’s take on the X-Men character will begin its eight-episode first season next year on February 8.
With the new release date for Legion, FX made the announcement during this new trailer. Based on the trailer, it does look trippy and strange but it does come from the comics, which is a good sign. Dan Stevens does portray the character of David Haller rather well based on what we’ve seen here. It does feel a lot different from the X-Men films, so expect to see a whole different take on the franchise when the series comes out in February.
Based on the comics, Legion follows the story of a young man who finds out he may be more than human. Ever since he was a teenager, David Haller suffered from his mental illness. Diagnosed to be schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for many years. After encountering a patient with powers, he discovers the possibility that the voices in his head and the visions he sees might be real.
