The Lights Out TV Show Trailer has premiered. Lights Out (2011) is a new F/X TV series directed by Clark Johnson and Norberto Barba. Lights Out‘s plot: “centers around “as an aging former heavyweight boxing champion [Holt McCallany] who struggles to find his identity and support his wife and three daughters after retiring from the ring. Financial problems leave him at a perilous crossroads – battling the urge to return to boxing or reluctantly accepting a job as a brutal and intimidating debt collector. Catherine McCormack (Braveheart) co-stars as “Theresa Leary,” Lights’ wife who is finishing her medical residency; Pablo Schreiber (Law & Order) as “Johnny Leary,” Lights’ brother and business manager whom Lights put through college; and Stacy Keach (Fat City) as “Pops,” Lights’ father and former trainer who runs the boxing gym owned by Lights.” This new TV series looks like it could be a hit. It seems to be operating on multiple levels: a show centered on a financial and moral dilemma. Thank God for FX and their edgy television shows. They are closest thing to the premium television shows present on HBO, Showtime, and Starz offer. In some cases better than them. Check out the trailer below. Lights Out goes lights up (boy that was bad) in January 2011 on FX.
