Max Von Sydow Has Died at 90
Actor Max Von Sydow has died at age of 90. During the actor’s sixty-five year career, “Von Sydow has appeared in well over 100 movies and TV shows”, including: The Exorcist, Dune, Shutter Island, The Seventh Seal, Game of Thrones, The Greatest Story Ever Told, Minority Report, and many other films.
Catherine von Sydow, Max’s widow, made the announcement of his passing today “it is with a broken heart and with infinite sadness that we have the extreme pain of announcing the departure of Max von Sydow, on March 8, 2020.” Born in 1948, Max is survived by his second wife and four sons.
During his long film and television career, Max Von Sydow received two Academy Awards nominations and one Emmy nomination.
