Midnight Special UK Trailer. Jeff Nichols‘ Midnight Special (2016) international movie trailer stars Jaeden Lieberher, Paul Sparks, Dana Gourrier, Scott Haze, and Kerry Cahill. Midnight Special‘s plot synopsis: “A father and son go on the run after the dad learns his child possesses special powers.”
This trailer gives away a key event near its conclusion that I wish had been kept off-screen but what is done is done. I never get the practice of showing something that most-likely happens in the third act of a film in the trailer.
The trailer does establish a good mystique around the film and its central message.
