Netflix‘s Mindhunter (2017) TV show trailer stars Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany, Anna Torv, Cotter Smith, and Sonny Valicenti. Mindhunter‘s plot synopsis: based on the book by John Douglas, “How do we get ahead of crazy if we don’t know how crazy thinks? Two FBI agents (Jonathan Groff & Holt McCallany) set out on a sinister investigative odyssey to discover the brutal answers.”
This TV show trailer for an upcoming FBI / serial killer drama looks very good. Mindhunters reminds me of The Company and The Americans – good period dramas that combine real life people and events with fictional characters and situations.
I was surprised in Mindhunters that FBI Special Agents Holden Ford and Bill Tench got push back by FBI leadership about studying the minds on psychopaths. The result of those studies can be seen on the CBS TV show Criminal Minds and the specialized unit that hunts sociopaths and psychopaths.
Mindhunter also stars Tyler James Larkin, Hannah Gross, Cameron Britton, Alex Morf, Stacey Roca, Joe Tuttle, Happy Anderson, Jesse C. Boyd, and Duke Lafoon.
