Morgan Trailer 2

The second movie trailer for Morgan (2016) has been released for the Luke Scott directed film. The threat that Morgan poses to workers in the lab and possibly humanity are front and center in Morgan trailer 2. Instead of being the shrouded threat, kept in the shadows,  Anya Taylor-Joy is the visible promise (and threat) that all of the scientists congregate around and fear.

Unseen in the first trailer for Morgan, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Rose Leslie, and Paul Giamatti all have speaking segments in this trailer. Jennifer Jason Leigh and Paul Giamatti’s moments in this trailer are particularly effective. Paul Giamatti’s intense integration of Morgan was only ever going to have one outcome. I am surprised he went for it, locked in that room with her.

Now that more of the film is visible, Morgan is sure to remind the viewer of Ex Machina and its antagonist doing what it took preserve itself.

Morgan also star Kate Mara, Toby Jones, Michelle Yeoh, Boyd Holbrook, Sam Spruell, Chris Sullivan, Jonathan Aris, Vinette Robinson, Charlotte Asprey, and Michael Yare.

Morgan‘s plot synopsis: “A corporate troubleshooter (Kate Mara) is sent to a remote, top-secret location, where she is to investigate and evaluate a terrifying accident. She learns the event was triggered by a seemingly innocent “human,” who presents a mystery of both infinite promise and incalculable danger.”
