NCIS: Jennifer Esposito Joins As Series Regular [CBS]

Jennifer Esposito

Jennifer Esposito joins the cast of NCIS. The Blue Bloods and She’s Funny That Way actress is set to join the CBS drama as a series regular during the show’s 14th season.

Esposito has been keeping herself busy since her noteworthy run on Blue Bloods. She recently appeared on such TV programs as Mistresses and The Affair, in addition to acting in the upcoming film You Get Me.

The Crash actress is not the only new face expected to appear in the next season of NCIS. Also slated to join is Duane Henry, who previously appeared as MI6 Officer Clayton Reeves in the last season’s final episodes and is now ready to play a regular role on the show:

Esposito will play NCIS Special Agent Alexandra “Alex” Quinn, an experienced agent who left field work and became an instructor at the Law Enforcement Training Center. Gibbs (Harmon) will lure her back into the field as part of his team, where he will take advantage of her sharp wit, quick mind and immense talent as a federal agent. Her character will be introduced in the September 20 season premiere.

“We couldn’t be happier to have Jennifer Esposito joining us for Season 14,” said NCIS executive producer Gary Glasberg. “She embodies everything that we hoped for in the character of Quinn, and we can’t wait to have her come be a part of our team.”
