Weekend Impressions:

Suicide Squad will be Number One at the box office for the third weekend in row this weekend. Don’t Breathe looks like a step above a normal, middle-of-the-road, horror film. It might be strong enough to surpass Suicide Squad since that film is in itself third week of release but I doubt it. Suicide Squad has been completely benefiting for weeks from a weak slate of competition films. This weekend will be no different. With Sausage Party making 15.3 Million last weekend, Mechanic: Resurrection should premiere in Second Place with $18-20 Million. Sausage Party should be Third. War Dogs should be Fourth. Rounding out the Top Five should be Kubo and the Two Strings.
