Weekend Impressions:

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter will narrowly be Number One at the box office this weekend. Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is supposedly the last in the series. Each Resident Evil film has made more money than the last film. I don’t believe Resident Evil: The Final Chapter will be any different. Fans will be interested in what the last chapter holds, how the story ends, and for the return of an antagonist that made an impression in a number of Resident Evil films.

Split will be Second. Positive word-of-mouth will keep the twisty thriller near or at the top of the box office this weekend. xXx: The Return of Xander Cage will Third though it could be Fourth with the drop that it will suffer. Hidden Figures will Forth this weekend at the box office. Sing will round out the Top Five at the Unites States box office.
