Weekend Impressions
Avengers: Infinity War will be Number One at the box office over the weekend for the third week in a row. None of the films being released this weekend will even come close to toppling Avengers 3.
Breaking In will be Second at the box office this weekend. Breaking In should do well this weekend as it is a new, seemingly well-made thriller and will appeal to multiple demographics coterminous.
Life of the Party will open in Third Place, possibly in Second Place, this weekend. I say “possibly” because Melissa McCarthy fans and those seeking a new comedy will venture into Life of the Party. Outside of those and a few other demos, I don’t believe Life of the Party will crack the Top Two.
A Quiet Place will be Fourth this weekend with an impressive hold after six weeks of release. A Quiet Place deserves the attention. Not only is it original, its good and well shot.
Underwhelming Overboard will be Fifth this weekend. This will be the last weekend in which Overboard is in the Top Five at the box office.
If there are movies to seek out this weekend, it would be: Beast and Revenge.
