Weekend Impressions:
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children will be Number One at the box office this weekend. Tim Burton has a great track record with creating films of this nature and Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children looks like one of his best. 20th Century Fox obviously gave Burton the budget that he needed to bring his vision to life. It really shows. Deepwater Horizon will be Number Two. The film has a compelling story that has not been told on film before and lots of star power, led by Mark Wahlberg. The first trailer for the film was highly effective. The Magnificent Seven will be Third. Storks with be Fourth. Sully will round out the Top Five at the United States box office for this weekend.
