Focus Features has released the international movie trailer for On the Basis of Sex (2018).
On the Basis of Sex‘s plot synopsis: “The film tells an inspiring and spirited true story that follows young lawyer Ruth Bader Ginsburg as she teams with her husband Marty to bring a groundbreaking case before the U.S. Court of Appeals and overturn a century of gender discrimination. The feature will premiere in 2018 in line with Justice Ginsburg’s 25th anniversary on the Supreme Court.”
This film is extremely relevant with the Supreme Court, a new Supreme Court judge about to be appointed, and the fight over that appointment looming.
Mimi Leder‘s On the Basis of Sex also stars Felicity Jones, Armie Hammer, Justin Theroux, Kathy Bates, and Sam Waterston, Cailee Spaeny, Stephen Root, Jack Reynor, Gabrielle Graham, and Angela Galuppo.
