OUTCAST: Cinemax Series Gets a Poster with First Look at Patrick Fugit [Cinemax]

Patrick Fugit Outcast

Robert Kirkman’s Outcast Gets Key Art with a First Look at Patrick Fugit. Robert Kirkman, known for creating The Walking Dead, will introduce another horror series titled Outcast. An official key art and the first issue of the series featuring Patrick Fugit released online.

Premiering in 2016 on Cinemax, the two images for Outcast were unveiled a few days before the show’s debut at San Diego Comic Con, which fans can get during the panel this weekend. The poster shows a drawing of a kid being attacked by what looks like a demon. The tagline reads ‘Possession is just the beginning’, which completely sets up what we can expect from this show. The second key art is actually a reissue of the first comic featuring Patrick Fugit as the main character Kyle Barnes.

Based on the comic by Kirkman, the story follows Kyle Barnes, a young man who has been haunted by demonic possession his whole life ever since he was a boy. Now, Kyle goes on a journey to find answers and try to regain a normal life. With the help of Reverend Anderson, a preacher who has some personal demons of his own, Kyle makes a discovery that can change his fate and the world forever. The discovery he makes would take place after meeting a kid named Joshua Austin, who also is facing a similar affliction as Kyle, but his possession seems different and shares a connection with his own.

Kirkman wrote the script for the pilot episode which has been in development since November before the first issue got published. The first episode will be directed by You’re Next director Adam Wingard. So check out the two posters and let us know what you think.
