Adrien Brody Signs On For Fourth Season Of Peaky Blinders
Academy Award-winning The Pianist star Adrien Brody is set to play a role on the fourth season of the BBC‘s period crime drama Peaky Blinders.
Since his critically-acclaimed turn as Polish pianist Wladyslaw Szpilman in the aforementioned Roman Polanski film, Brody has become one of the most recognized faces on the big screen. He has played major roles in such diverse fare as The Village, King Kong, The Darjeeling Limited, Splice, and The Grand Budapest Hotel. However, he has appeared on the small screen on occasion, most notably the History Channel‘s Houdini, where he played the legendary escape artist.
Little is known about the role Brody is supposed to play for the series, although creator Steven Knight claims that he was exactly who he had in mind when he first wrote the character. Thus, we’ll just have to wait and see what the next season of the show has in store for Brody, to say nothing of viewers.
