ABC‘s Agent Carter Better Angels Review. Peggy Carter Cast: The AGENT CARTER Podcast: Season 2, Episode 3: Better Angels is an audio review in which FilmBook contributor Mike Smith discusses his reaction to the latest episode of ABC’s Agent Carter.

Agent Carter: Season 2, Episode 3: Better Angels‘ plot synopsis (spoilers): “At Frost’s behest, Chadwick frames Wilkes as a communist spy who had infiltrated Isodyne and attempted to destroy it. Thompson comes to Los Angeles to ‘clean-up’ the situation at the invitation of Masters, and when Carter enlists the help of Howard Stark to investigate the Arena Club—whose membership pin was borne by the Council agents—and discovers (but is unable to prove) that the Council has blackmailed Chadwick’s senatorial competitor into dropping out of the race, Thompson sends her home. Carter ‘misses’ her flight, and after confronting Frost unsuccessfully, is attacked by a Council hitman, barely fending him off. Investigating a gravitational anomaly around Carter, Stark discovers Wilkes alive but temporarily invisible and non-corporeal, and goes in search of his mentor for help in restoring Wilkes’s physical body. Frost accidentally kills her sexist director with her new Zero Matter abilities, and Masters introduces Thompson to Chadwick to celebrate the latter’s now guaranteed-senatorship; Thompson realizes that Carter was right.”

Agent Carter: Season 2, Episode 3: Better Angels starred Hayley Atwell, James D’Arcy, Enver Gjokaj, Chad Michael Murray, Dominic Cooper, Bridget Regan, Lotte Verbeek, Wynn Everett, and Reggie Austin.
